Set the Basic Salary to be Calculated Based on Logged Hours
The basic salary of hourly employees may now be calculated with only the logged hours, irrespective of Undertime Policy being disabled.
For example, an employee has logged 6 hours for attendance. In a defined shift, there are 9 hours stated. Hence, the Basic Salary may consider only 6 hours and will get paid only for the hours he has worked in the defined shift.
Kindly make sure that the employee is added to the Carbonate, and the profile is updated. Refer to the following user guides:
Step 1
On the dashboard, go to the Staff List.
Click on the respective Staff.
Step 2
Go to the Employment tab.
Scroll down to the Salary period and tick the Hourly button.
Toggle the button on “Do not pay for hours missed in defined shift?” to enable it.
Step 3
Click Save.
