How to bulk import pay components under payroll
On Carbonate, you can bulk import pay components.
Follow the below steps to implement the same in Carbonate:
Step 1.
- Go to payroll
Step 2.
- Select the employees and click on edit pay items.
Step 3.
- Click on select import option and click on import pay components
Step 4.
- Click on the “Download” the sample file
Step 5.
- Remove the sample data inside it and add the records as per the given sample.
- Available types: Post-CPF Allowance, Additional Deduction, Additional Allowance, Over Time and Post-CPF Deduction
- Save the file as .XLSX
Step 6.
- Click on attach XLSX and attach the file
Step 7.
- The records added will now appear under the payroll section.
- Click on Generate payslips
Step 8.
- It will now appear in the payslip
